Each October long weekend, The Crack Theatre Festival takes over empty spaces in Newcastle to create the opportunity for artists from all disciplines, with varied skills, and at all stages in their career to flex their creative muscles and hone their craft. But there’s more than one way to skin a cat get involved with Crack Theatre Festival!
Artist Applications
Knock heads and mince words in our ‘Talk’ panel and forum series, sharpen your creative edge in our ‘Make’ master class and workshop series, and gain valuable feedback, performance experience, and a safe space to try new ideas through our ‘Work’ performance showcase.
If you’re a passionate artist with something to say, then we want to hear from you. Applications for the Festival program are open from March 8 – 30, 2015.

Volunteers
As a FREE Festival, we rely on a strong team of volunteers each year to help make the Festival an extraordinary experience. We need people with production and technical experience, administration and marketing experience, front of house and bar experience, and those with no experience but a whole lot of passion.
